Brooke Pecorella

Brooke Pecorella is currently a junior at Gannon University, majoring in Occupational Therapy with a minor in Special Education.

On campus, she is actively involved in several organizations including the Student Occupational Therapy Association, Pi Theta Epsilon, Scrubs Closet and Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority, where she serves as the Serving and Giving Director. In the spring of 2024, Brooke studied abroad in Rome, Italy, an experience she describes as the best of her life. During that semester, she visited 13 countries and 27 cities, making unforgettable memories.

Outside of academics, Brooke is passionate about giving back – she is involved with Special Olympics, helping provide year-round sports training and competitions for individuals with intellectual disabilities. She is also in the process of starting a Girls on the Run team in Erie, a nonprofit organization that empowers girls in 3rd to 8th grade by building their social, emotional and physical skills. After completing her master’s degree, Brooke plans to pursue a career in pediatric neurology as an Occupational Therapist.
