Fifteen recent Portville Central School graduates received awards from the Portville College Scholarship Fund, stewarded by the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation.
Established by Portville College Scholarships, the Portville College Scholarships Fund supports annual scholarship awards for graduating Portville students who volunteer at the school store or annual Portville College Scholarship phonathon fundraiser.
Awards from the fund this year totaled $9,300.

Sprout plans to attend Jamestown Community College to study criminal justice. Glover plans to attend SUNY Geneseo to study biology. Emma Rhinehart plans to attend Penn State University to study biomedical engineering. Mia Rhinehart plans to attend Penn State University to study kinesiology. Bray plans to attend Loyola University of Maryland to study nursing.
Edwards plans to attend St. Bonaventure University to study chemistry. Ford plans to attend West Virginia University to study biology. Layton plans to attend Grace College to study psychology. Randolph plans to attend Alfred University to study engineering. Gardner plans to attend SUNY Binghamton to study biological sciences.
Haynes plans to attend Slippery Rock University to study early childhood education. Sorvillo plans to attend St. Bonaventure University to study theater. Conkey plans to attend University of Pittsburgh at Bradford to study exercise science. Linn plans to attend Niagara University to study business management. Morales plans to attend St. Bonaventure University to study broadcast journalism.
