The Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation is now accepting grant applications for the Wagner Family Library Fund.
The Wagner Family Library Fund, which made its first grant awards in 2023, is open to applications from libraries in Cattaraugus and Allegany counties.
Applications for the Wagner Family Library Fund will be accepted until September 30.
Grants will be made to support educational programming and new activities for youth and adults. Grants will typically range between $100 and $200 and are not intended to fund ongoing, annual needs.
Last year, the David A. Howe Public Library in Wellsville, New York was given a $160 grant for beginner watercolor classes.
Libraries should only submit one proposal per calendar year.
The Wagner Family Library Fund was established by the late Cindy Wagner, a Portville native who worked in the nonprofit sector for many years. She decided to establish the Wagner Family Library Fund to honor the role that libraries played in enriching the lives of her and her family members.
