Applications for this year’s grants from the Mental Wellness in Cattaraugus County Fund at the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation will be due October 1.

“We know that the mental wellness of a community and its members is integral to its overall health and wellness,” said CRCF Executive Director Karen Niemic Buchheit. “We also know that the COVID-19 pandemic has put additional stress on the mental health of so many, making this fund and its purpose even more essential this year.”

Grants from this fund support program services and activities that promote and support mental wellness in Cattaraugus County.

Typically grants will range from $500 to $1,500, but up to $4,000 may be available for special projects, particularly those that impact vulnerable and/or disadvantaged individuals.

The grant application can be accessed at cattfoundation.org/grant-seekers/grant-opportunities/.
