The Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation recently named Jackie Nelson full-time database manager and donor services manager.

Nelson brings over 30 years of experience in database management, bookkeeping and customer relations to the position at CRCF.

Nelson recently relocated to the Olean area from New Hampshire, where she worked for MicroDAQ.com for the last 10 years. In her role there she worked to streamline bookkeeping and procedures and to analyze data from reporting systems to make operational improvements as well communicating directly with customers.

Prior to that position she worked in bookkeeping and accounting at a number of other companies, helping to establish new accounting systems and procedures at many of those organizations.

Nelson graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and health studies. She then received an associate’s degree in science in accounting from New Hampshire Technical Institute.

In her role at CRCF she will work to maintain the Foundation’s database system and support donor stewardship and relations.

“Jackie brings a diverse background from a long and fruitful career in database and financial management,” said CRCF Executive Director Karen Niemic Buchheit. “Her experience in helping organizations streamline operations and procedures will be an asset to the Foundation and our mission.”

Nelson lives on Cuba Lake with her husband, Tim. Tim and Jackie have two sons; one is a junior at Ithaca College and the other is attending Texas A&M for graduate school where he is a member of the baseball team.

For 25 years, the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation has been the area’s supportive, responsive and trusted community foundation. Established in 1994, CRCF is growing good by connecting donors to the causes they care about most in the region. Grants from the foundation support many areas, including education, scholarships, health care, the arts, community development, human service, and youth development.
