Alfred Station, NY, October 29, 2020 - Beginning November 1st through November 11th, the Allegany-Cattaraugus-Chautauqua Fund for Women will be selling holiday plants (poinsettia, cyclamen, and Christmas cactus), with all proceeds to benefit the Fund for Women.  Holiday plants may be ordered online or through the mail; order forms can be found here:  https://www.accffw.org/fundraisers-events.  

All plants come in 6” covered pots, and will be available for local pick-up, in the Alfred / Wellsville / Olean areas, on December 3rd.  If you are outside of the Alfred / Wellsville / Olean areas, please contact [email protected] to make arrangements for distribution.  All who purchase will receive an email with their designated, local pick-up location.

New this year is the option to purchase plants that will be donated to local care facilities. Care facilities can be designated as recipients of plants during the online order process or by contacting the FFW directly.   

When beginning to plan holiday decorating, or if you’d like to donate a plan to a local care facility (i.e., nursing home or hospital), please consider purchasing through the ACC FFW (www.accffw.org).  

About ACC-FFW:

The ACC-FFW, a volunteer led organization, was established in 2017 to combat poverty in the tri-county area by providing women the opportunity to seek financial assistance for long-term self-improvement, and by promoting philanthropy by and for women. The ACC FFW is a component fund of the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation, a 501(c )(3) nonprofit organization.  Donations to this fund are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
